หนังสือ ‘คินสึงิ : ศิลปะแห่งการเยียวยาหัวใจและบาดแผลของชีวิต ’ เล่มนี้ เขียนโดย ‘Celine Santini’ หนังสือที่ช่วยเยียวยาหัวใจผู้คนมาแล้วทั่วโลก และได้รับการแปลมาแล้วกว่า 12 ภาษา หนังสือเล่มนี้บอกเล่าเรื่องราวศิลปะแห่งการซ่อมแซมวัตถุที่แตกร้าวด้วยการลงรักปิดทองของญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งมีชื่อเรียกว่า ‘คินสึงิ’ โดยนำมาเปรียบเทียบกับชีวิตของมนุษย์ที่ต้องอาศัยการเยียวยารักษาบาดแผลในใจเช่นกัน ‘คินสึงิ’ เป็นคำประสมภาษาญี่ปุ่น ระหว่างคำว่า ‘คิน’ (ทอง) กับคำว่า ‘สึงิ’ (การประสาน) ความหมายคือ ‘การประสานกันด้วยทอง’ ศาสตร์และศิลป์นี้จึงเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งการเยียวยาและการลุกขึ้นสู้ใหม่อีกครั้ง โดยเนื้อหาประกอบไปด้วย 6 ขั้นตอนที่เรียบง่าย ดังนี้คือ ขั้นที่ 1 แตกหัก, ขั้นที่ 2 ประกอบขึ้นใหม่, ขั้นที่ 3 รอเวลา, ขั้นที่ 4 เยียวยา, ขั้นที่ 5 เผยความงาม และขั้นที่ 6 เปี่ยมคุณค่า ซึ่งรายละเอียดต่างๆ เริ่มจากการเก็บรวบรวมชิ้นส่วนที่แตกหัก นำมาซ่อมแซมโดยติดทุกชิ้นเข้าด้วยกันอย่างประณีตอ่อนโยน ก่อนจะโรยด้วยผงทองคำลงบนรอยแตกร้าวที่หลงเหลือ เป็นการเลือกขับเน้นจุดด่างพร้อยให้โดดเด่นแทนที่จะซ่อนไว้จากสายตาคนภายนอก เปรียบดั่งการหันมายอมรับอดีตที่แสนเจ็บปวด เก็บชิ้นส่วนหัวใจที่แตกสลายมารักษาเยียวยาด้วยความรักและทะนุถนอม แล้วมองเส้นทางชีวิตที่ผ่านมาเป็นประสบการณ์แสนล้ำค่าดั่งทองคำ จากนั้นเราจะหวนกลับมาทวีคุณค่า และเข้มแข็งยิ่งกว่าเดิม
